Edit: Made a few changes :3 I think it looks better now

Well now my hand hurts something chronic, but I don't care this was WAY too much fun

This is a commission for !V-3RT1G0 of her character Venloknir, who is OMG so much fun to draw!!

I was stuck for a while on how I'd do her Justice, I mean how was I going to really bring out those eyes ;P.

This is very good artwork, it looks very realistic, it looks almost the same like in dragon adopters! The vision is fantastic no blurry
bits, nice background. I like it.the beautiful background was a nice touch. the fire coming out of his mouth looks a bit like a beam so i would say work on that and i like the colour blending for the sky, i much like the fact that you drew the dark dragon. That was a very good but probably a hard choice from all the dragon species,so you did a very good job at this picture, well done!

This is very good artwork good attention to detail but the style is a bit cartoony I strongly suggest trying to make your next drawing a little more realistice. If you combine your amazing attention to detail and spot on colour works you'll be on the right track to making spectacular works of art that can go toe to toe with any of the bests. In the mean time you should try making rough drafts of your art and keep adding on to those drafts until you believe you have an incredible work of art that would make someone like shalone blush. Keep up the good work and and good luck on your next artwork.

Beautiful! Although the lines on it's mouth where the fire is shooting through it seem a bit odd, maybe lighten them up a bit so that the fire covers it more?

Oh golly, that's a fairly big question
I usually start out with a several sketches on paper and then scan them in to photoshop,
I make a separate layer for the lineart and it just develops from there :)
does this answer ur question?
