Anyhow, I like how you made this character seem as if he was about to shoot some kind of laser/fire (something) at a foe he suddenly saw out of the corner of his eye. I like the decent colors and the hues of purple really blend well all together to form one massive creature (I always have issues making large characters smaller then they appear
I would've made the character more vivid, as in terms of lighting on the wings. You have some seriously awesome details in the front, but you get to the back and it's rather dark and smudged up on the scales/feathers. In the future, I'd suggest focusing more on the feather's highlights instead of the shadows. It's good to have them, but they can be over done by mistake.
As stated, love the color, the action is amazing and the background puts anything I could do, to shame xD Good luck!
